Gezellig Society

President: Clara Tuffrey (crt42)

Gezellig Society is a small community that meets every week to craft and chat over tea, named after the Dutch word which means being cosy with good company. We believe that it’s really important, especially in an environment like Cambridge which can be academically pressured, to make space to relax and chat with friends. We love trying out new crafts, from the more traditional knitting, crochet, and clothing repair, to Japanese stab book binding, making bead lizards and macrame hanging planters. Anyone is welcome to come along, whether you fancy crafting, or just having a cup of tea and a chat!
