Of course, you will have to spend at least some of your time at uni getting down to work – so it’s important that you choose both a subject and a course that you’re excited about! Don’t forget that there’s an important distinction between a ‘subject’ and a ‘course’: it’s worth researching the course structures at several different universities, and bearing in mind that Cambridge’s may not be the best for you. (For example, our medicine course is very theoretical at first, and only eventually becomes practical – this may not be what you want.)
To help you understand just what work involves at Cambridge, and particularly what sort of teaching and support is offered at Christ’s, we’ve interviewed some current students about how they find their own subject. Also check out individual Faculty websites to find definitive information (the list is here).
